We’re excited to share that Quest Compassionate Education is now officially a registered charity! With this milestone, we’re ready to dive into some amazing projects that will bring real change to communities in Cambodia. Here’s a look at what we’re working on and what’s next for us. 

We Are Now A Registered Charity: What’s Next?

1. Growing Our Online Lessons

Our journey started with weekly online English lessons, and we’re continuing to grow and improve this initiative. Samban and his community school have been fantastic partners, but there’s still so much work to do. To help more children participate, we need to provide suitable equipment, better resources and recruit more Teachers. Every improvement means more opportunities for these kids to learn and develop vital skills for their future.

2. Visiting Cambodia for Hands-On Support

We’ll soon be heading to Cambodia to meet with our partners and explore how we can support their work more effectively. One key stop on this trip is a primary school about an hour outside of Siem Reap. During our visit, we’ll be delivering a brand-new library book collection to enhance their existing resources. These books will open up a world of learning and inspiration for the children, giving them tools to dream bigger and learn better.

3. Training Cambodian Teachers

Our most ambitious project is just getting started: a teacher training program designed to empower Cambodian educators with modern techniques and tools. This initiative will be a game-changer for local schools, but it’s a big undertaking. We’re currently working on securing grant funding for a two-year program to make this vision a reality. It’ll take time, but we know the impact will be worth it.

4. Exploring Other Community Projects

Education is at the heart of what we do, so we’re also exploring other ways to help. Rabies prevention, animal safety education, and community action projects are all on the table. These initiatives align with our mission to support healthier, more resilient communities.

Looking Ahead

We’re just getting started, and it’s an exciting time for Quest Compassionate Education. Thanks to our new charity registration, we’re in a position to help in ways we’ve only dreamed of before. Every project, whether it’s a library for a school, teacher training, or online lessons, brings us one step closer to making a lasting impact.
